Host Benefits

As a campground host volunteer, you will be allowed free camping from Memorial Day thru Labor Day.

Who Can Host?

A Host can be an individual or individuals as a wife and husband. You must, however, be 18 years of age and up with your own camping gear.

Responsibilities

• Assist campers by answering questions and explaining rules in a pleasant and helpful manner.
• Perofrm other services depending on your individual capabilities and the campground facilities where assigned

Volunteer Campground Hosts are selected by the Park Manager and you may be required to be interviewed or request additional information on prospective volunteers. Selection is based on familiarity with the Sanilac County Park System, camping experience, special skills, availability, and knowledge of the surrounding areas and needs of the park.
